Venus Brown CFJST,CPCC,BRAC Federal Trainer
Venus Brown a Native Detroiter is an inspirational motivator and life coach. Venus’ employment career includes over 8 years of experience as a trainer and project manager and more than 10 years’ experience, collectively, in multiple professional industries.
In addition to her present career as the BRAC Federal Trainer, having worked as Senior Director, Patient Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician, Entrepreneur and Lead Instructor, she has an in-depth understanding of the hurdles that employees and people in career transition must overcome. She has a history of being a people’s person.
Venus has an exceptional ability to think out of the box, and identify and eliminate obsolete processes while creating compelling alternatives. She is an advocate of career transition services and she enjoys an innate and professional expertise in career management and life coaching. Venus has technical and managerial knowledge and understanding that is applicable across industries and job categories. Her peers have recognized Venus as being a team leader and motivator. As a trainer, Venus has been successful because she is committed, tenacious and stimulated by positive results on behalf of the people she serves.
Venus possesses several certificates of completion and an Associate of General Studies. In 2010, Venus successfully completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Science specializing in Pre-law from Kaplan University. She earned this degree by going to school online while working a full time job and taking care of her four children. Venus recently earned her certification as a Federal Job Search Trainer and a Federal Career Counselor. Her personal and professional interests are in sync because they are both centered on helping people achieve their goals and being a positive inspirational force.
She has received several awards as well as newspaper and television coverage. In 2008, she received the Women’s Business Center of Excellence Award from the Small Business Administration, which included U.S. Presidential acknowledgement. In 2006, the Governor of Michigan certificated her as a Tribute Emerging Minority Business Leader Resource Partner. In 2004, she received the Small Business Startups Award from Wayne County’s Business One Stop, the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award from the Detroit Entrepreneurship Institute and the Entrepreneurship Tenacity Award from Black Business United.
Ms. Brown's mom instilled in her at an early age that no dream is impossible unless you give up on it.
